Who I Am
I’m Michael — a wedding photographer based in Austria, traveling across Europe to document celebrations that feel effortless, elegant, and alive.
Life for me is a mix of slow mornings, fresh brewed coffee, long dinners — and the energy of great music, full tables, and nights that don’t end too early. Time with my wife and our daughter, and the kind of moments with friends where hours pass without noticing.
I’m drawn to places where everything feels alive in a natural way — Italy especially. Warm evenings, good wine, olive trees, people talking over each other, music playing somewhere in the background, and that unmistakable sense of dolce vita.
It’s never just about slowing down — it’s about feeling something. And for me, that’s found in connection, in movement, in shared experiences that stay with you long after they’re over. That same balance is what I’m always looking for in a wedding: moments of calm, but also movement, connection, and real energy.
Experience & Approach
Over the past decade, I’ve photographed more than 200 weddings across Europe — from intimate celebrations to multi-day destination weddings in Italy, Portugal, Germany, Austria and beyond.
What matters to me is not staging moments, but recognizing them. My work is rooted in documentary photography — capturing what actually happens, as it happens. The in-between, the atmosphere, the energy of the people. Not forced poses, not trends, but images that feel honest, refined, and lasting.
At the same time, when guidance is needed, I step in with clarity and calm — creating space for natural, effortless portraits without ever taking over the moment.
How I Work
My couples care deeply about quality, aesthetics, and experience. They appreciate the details — from the setting to the people around them — but they don’t want their day to feel like a production.
Working with me is straightforward and unobtrusive. I move with the flow of the day, blending in when needed, stepping forward when it matters — always focused on creating a cohesive visual story that feels consistent, intentional, and elevated. Whether it’s a wedding in Tuscany, the South of France, or closer to home in Austria or Germany — the goal remains the same: To create images that don’t just show how it looked, but how it felt.
